Victoria

The weather held beautifully this weekend for a photo shoot with Victoria, a senior from Lebanon High School.  A downpour immediately before we were scheduled to start had us worried, but the wonderful Oregon autumn sun came out and ended up making for a perfect shoot with our beautiful and charming subject.  We started out with a train trestle and some alley shots:
I thought my idea of using the chair on the train tracks was rather artistic.  =)

After smelling the delicious cooking from various restaurants in the alley, we grabbed burgers and headed over to a nearby park.

Josh and I were having so much fun that we took a bit longer than planned.  But Victoria was wonderfully patient, and in the end, we had so many incredible pictures that I'm having a hard time limiting myself to posting just a handful!  But that's it for now.  Really.  Okay, maybe just one more:

Family Portraits!

Betsy contacted me awhile ago to ask for family portraits.  With a brand new baby (five months old now), she and her husband Jimmy wanted to make sure to capture their family at this stage.  Capture is one way of putting it--the energy level of these little ones was amazing!  We spent an afternoon playing, with small breaks for group shots, and have some wonderful photos.  Here are some pictures of her beautiful children:
McKayla (going on 4)
Natalie (2 years)
and Alivia (5 months)

Senior Portraits - Julia and Stephanie

We had an amazing photoshoot this last Saturday with Julia and Stephanie, two best friends from South Salem High School.  Both girls were a lot of fun to work with and very photogenic.  We had a blast getting to know them and working to create great portraits.  Though it was a long day, photographing two seniors simultaneously, the portraits we got made it all worthwhile.
Here are some of our favorites:
